Wife Planned Husband's Murder Due to Secret Relationship
Police in Dausa, Rajasthan, have arrested a 35-year-old woman named Shweta (also known as Shilpi Sharma). She is accused of hiring someone to kill her husband because of a secret love affair.
The investigation began on February 10, 2025 (Note: The original article uses a future date. We are assuming it meant 2024 or a past date for the purpose of this rewrite.) when an unknown body was found near the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway. Police have now solved the case, finding that the murder was planned due to an illegal relationship. All the main people involved, including the wife, are now in police custody.
How the Crime Happened
An official said the body was found near the Bandikui–Jaipur link road on the expressway. There were no papers to identify the person. Police opened a case and formed a special team to find out who the dead person was and how the crime happened.
Police used informants, phone data, and many CCTV cameras from highways and toll plazas. They identified the victim as Ashanand (also known as Pande) from Bihar. By carefully tracking his movements, police found out that his wife was having a secret affair.
Investigators believe Ashanand was killed because he was seen as a problem for this relationship. The murder was a "contract killing," meaning someone was paid to do it. Dharmendra (also known as DK) was identified as the main person who planned the murder. He hired Ramsundar (also known as Bittu) from Uttar Pradesh to carry out the killing. Ashanand was shot, and his body was left near the expressway to make it hard for police to identify him.
The Police Investigation and Arrests
The police worked hard to catch those responsible:
- Dharmendra was caught in Ghaziabad, along with the car used in the crime.
- Ramsundar was arrested later on December 7. Police found a homemade pistol and a live bullet on him, which they believe were used in the murder.
- The last person arrested was Shweta, who had been hiding. Police found her in Bhojpur district, Bihar, using phone tracking and local information. Police confirmed she was the main planner of the murder.
This case shows how a secret relationship led to a planned murder, with the wife being the main person behind it.
