A Special Welcome from Ethiopia's Leader
India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has arrived in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. He is on a two-day official visit. What made his arrival special was that Ethiopia's Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed Ali, personally welcomed him at the airport. PM Abiy even drove PM Modi to his hotel, taking a different route.

The main goal of this visit is to make the friendship and cooperation between India and Ethiopia stronger. Both countries see themselves as partners in the Global South, which refers to developing countries around the world. They want to work together more closely.
